What's Happening at West Coast Sailing - October 2012

The beautiful Summer weather may have said so long until next year but we are busy as ever here at West Coast Sailing. High school and college programs in full swing and we're working hard to meet the needs of scholastic sailors and coaches with a great selection of foul weather gear and accessories. As former high school and college sailors we understand how important it is to dress for the conditions. Speaking of that, a big thanks is owed to all the local sailors who came to our Gear Swap last weekend. It was particularly great to see so many high school sailors come by after a long, cold day of racing down at the sailing club to check out new and used sailing gear.

Brendan Casey from Sail Equipment Australia stopped by last week to give us the latest on the SEA product range. He also shared a few stories from his Olympic experience this past summer in London where he represented Australia in the Finn class. Its not every day we get to hang out with an Olympic sailor! Be sure to check out favorites like the Neoprene Hiker, Ultrawarm Top, Regatta Boot, and Metalite Skiff Pants. Our great reps from Gill, Henri Lloyd, and Zhik have also stopped by recently to show us the latest gear and samples of new products for 2013.

As you can see it has been a rather busy Fall season here at West Coast Sailing. The Holiday Season is just around the corner so it will only get more exciting from here! We continue to work hard to improve every aspect of the business and remain your number one choice for everything small boat sailing. Thanks for following along!
