New Employees

Phil is the newest full time employee at West Coast Sailing, recently joining the team to handle the Customer Service department. A native of Huntington, New York, Phil grew up sailing dinghies on Long Island Sound and the Great South Bay. He went on to sail for Fordham University in NYC where he was a Co-Captain for several years and recipient of the Joseph Sullivan Jr. Leadership Award for his commitment and overall leadership of the team. Phil is excited for the Portland experience and getting involved with the local sailing scene. You name it, he'll sail it. Outside of sailing, Phil is an avid musician, enjoys cycling, and loves to cook. Give him a call any time to talk boats, parts, and gear.

A native of Portland, Emma sailed on the Willamette Sailing Club High School team competing for Catlin Gabel. Emma currently is home for the summer, but in the Fall she will return to Manhattan to begin her Junior year at Fordham University where she is a crew and Co-Captain of the sailing team. At West Coast Sailing, she primarily works with Kyle fulfilling shipments. This summer you can find her on the water at WSC's Team Racing clinics.

Phil & Emma are two of the finest, student athletes to ever go through our program. They will do an outstanding job for West Coast Sailing and its customers.

Thanks for the compliments Joe. Emma and Phil hit the ground running as you would expect a fine Fordham sailor to do! We are so lucky to have them working here, couldn't be more pleased having them on our team!
