Live in the Portland, Oregon area? This guide is for you. We stock and carry a large range of small boat sailing gear, but sometimes we don't have exactly what you need. Below are a few local resources that might be of assistance for you.


North Sails Oregon/ Wyckam

Local North Sails loft here in Portland. They do sail repair work, make new sails, and create custom canvas products such as covers, biminis, storage bags, and shade awnings. A great local choice for repairs and custom projects.




SLO Canvas

Based in San Luis Obispo. SLO makes custom sails, covers, catamaran trampolines and a variety of other custom canvas products. Mostly focused on small boats. All SLO products are made to order with lead times in the 1-3 week range. Great if you're looking for a cover for a boat we do not currently service.




Columbia Marine Exchange

Local chandlery and consignment shop. Great place to look for used sails and hardware. Great shop for odds and ends.




Next Adventure

Local, independent outdoor equipment store. They are the Portland area dealer for Hobie Kayak products.




Willamette Sailing Club

The center for small boat sailing in Portland since 1961. Located 5 minutes South of downtown Portland on the banks of the Willamette River, the club hosts a busy year-round schedule of racing, cruising, and learn-to-sail programs, as well as a number of river-related social and educational events, all of which are open to the public.



Vancouver Lake Sailing Club

A family oriented sailing club whose purpose is to promote the sailing and racing of small, one-design sailboats. There are approximately 280 members who own a variety of small one-design sailboats including Lightnings, Fireballs, Finns, Lasers, Hobie Cats, and many other small boat designs..
