One of the most amazing, two person sailboats ever made. Designed by the late Frank Bethwaite in Australia, the Tasar is an amazing blend of performance and fun. It delivers exciting performance without spinnaker or trapeze, it's blisteringly fast but totally controllable. The hull has a fine angle at the bow to reduce wave impact - with a flat stern and hard chines to promote quick and stable planing.
The foam cored hull is stiff and very light (149lbs) with a rotating mast and fully battened mylar main sail. The Tasar is able to plane upwind and is comfortable in a good breeze! The wide beam and a cockpit make for comfortable hiking. The boat is just legendary for its sailing characteristics.
