Tasar

Designed by Frank Bethwaite in Australia, the Tasar is an amazing blend of performance and sail ability. It delivers exciting performance without spinnaker or trapeze. The hull has a fine angle at the bow to reduce wave impact - with a flat stern and hard chines to promote quick and stable planing.

The foam cored hull is stiff and very light (149lbs) with a rotating wing mast and fully battened main sail. The Tasar is able to plane upwind and is comfortable in a good breeze! The wide beam and a cockpit make for comfortable hiking - still a legendary boat for its sailing characteristics!
