Requesting a charter on our website is the first step in the reservation process. After we receive your information through the website, we will contact you with a confirmation email and send you a copy of our rental agreement.
We provide the boat at the beginning of the charter with two full tanks of fuel. At the conclusion of the charter, we will refuel the tanks and invoice you for the cost of the fuel.
Prior to the charter, we will review the boat with you and document the pre-charter condition. At the conclusion of the charter, an inspection will take place for any damage.
We do not collect a damage deposit. Your credit card information is kept on file and serves as your damage deposit. You are responsible for any damage to the boat, regardless of fault. If you are not at fault, it is your responsibility to pay West Coast Sailing and then seek payment from the party at fault independently.
If you must cancel your charter, we will provide a full refund if you notify us at least 4 weeks prior to the charter. If you cancel 2-4 weeks prior to the charter, we will refund 50% of your payment. Charters canceled less than 2 weeks prior to the charter will not be refunded.
