George Yioulos (President/Owner)George started sailing seriously at Marin Catholic High School in California, where he earned his varsity letter on the sailing team. In college, George competed for four years as a varsity skipper, coordinating the University of Oregon's team for three years. George was named to the All-Northwest Sailing Team twice and in his senior year he was selected for the Jim Rousmaniere Student Leadership Award and was elected to the College Sailing Hall of Fame. George spends much of his time working to promote youth sailing programs and expanding sailing as an activity for all people. He is a former High School coach, a board member for the Columbia Gorge Racing Association, and actively involved in many facets of sailing organizations locally and nationally. |

Kyle Eaton (Inventory & Fulfillment Manager)Kyle has worked at West Coast sailing since 2007, when he was pressed into service to fill the increasing mail order business. Kyle is fully active in College Sailing, where he serves as the Northwest Conference Commissioner. He spends many hours volunteering at College and High School races (he's the High School Coach in Portland), and he logs many miles doing so. Kyle is racing Tasars here in Portland and would love to see a Team Racing circuit get started. |

Chris Brown (Sales Manager & Events)Chris Brown literally spends more time on water than on land – he lives on his Pearson 30 sailboat on the Columbia River. Chris led the Oregon State University sailing team for four years and in 2007, he received the Pete McKillop Sportsmanship Award and was named to the All Northwest Sailing Team. Chris has taught sailing in Portland and Seattle and he spent a summer coaching youth fleet racing. Chris loves blasting across the Gorge on a Laser and racing any double handed boat, especially Tasars. |

Tom Miron (Creative Director)Tom grew up sailing dinghies on the Chesapeake Bay and later keelboats in San Francisco. He moved to Portland for college and started racing with the Portland State Sailing Team where he was named to the All-NW Sailing Team. He's been racing dinghies for the last five years and his current boat of choice is the Tasar. Tom hasn't forgotten his keelboat roots, he currently lives on a 26 footer. When he's not sailing, Tom enjoys brewing beer and snowboarding. Tom runs our design, advertising, promotional and social media programs. |

Phil Krug (Customer Service Manager)Phil is the newest full time employee at West Coast Sailing, recently joining the team to handle the Customer Service department. A native of Huntington, New York, Phil grew up sailing dinghies on Long Island Sound and the Great South Bay. He went on to sail for Fordham University in NYC where he was a Co-Captain for several years and recipient of the Joseph Sullivan Jr. Leadership Award for his commitment and overall leadership of the team. Phil is excited for the Portland experience and getting involved with the local sailing scene. You name it, he'll sail it. Outside of sailing, Phil is an avid musician, enjoys cycling, and loves to cook. Give him a call any time to talk boats, parts, and gear. |

Emma Pfohman (Shipping)A native of Portland, Emma sailed on the Willamette Sailing Club High School team competing for Catlin Gabel. Emma currently is home for the summer, but in the Fall she will return to Manhattan to begin her Junior year at Fordham University where she is a crew and Co-Captain of the sailing team. At West Coast Sailing, she primarily works with Kyle fulfilling shipments. This summer you can find her on the water at WSC’s Team Racing clinics.

Ashley Vizcaino (Accounting)Ashley is the lone non-sailor in our company. She is responsible for all the bookkeeping and paperwork we generate helping our customers. |
